Australian Curriculum Music Resources

e-learning resources has been created by music teachers, for music teachers and students.

In developing e-lr, we have been conscious of the Australian curriculum music band descriptions for Years 7-8 and 9-10.

The Elements section explains and demonstrates the musical elements. The Analysis section is directly linked to standards of the Australian curriculum. As well as focusing on traditional Western instruments and voices, we explore Australian Aboriginal instruments as well as instruments of the Balinese gamelan.

Australian composers explain their take on the composing process and students can follow guides to create their own compositions. As well as resources on Western art and contemporary music students can select online eQuizzes on a wide variety of areas covered in the Australian curriculum.
